Beercast #15 – Banks Brewing, Bridge Road

Twas only two outta three present for the latest beercast in the not so good shed. Simmo was fresh, back from Bridge Road Brewery pushing a wild conspiracy around the true ABV of New Sky Volume 1. Hudo was his charming self. Beers were drank, laughs were had.

Hudo goes for the Banks Brewing Run With It! DIPA

With a juicy & tropical aroma that follows through on the palate before finishing with a west coast orange citrus dankness. Hopped with Vic Secret & Citra.

Simmo has finished his GABS journey, meaning he’s gone with the Bridge Road Brewers New Sky IPA Vol. 1 – Double California

We approach each beer in this collection with fresh eyes and an open mind. Exploring the limitless possibilities of the modern style to craft IPAs of significance. First up is a fresh take on the West Coast DIPA, ‘Double California’. It’s big and bold whilst retaining balance and supreme drinkability.

A citrus-heavy aroma, with chinotto and candied orange notes, opens up to an off-dry palate of tangerine and pineapple juice. The finish is classic west coast with grapefruit pith and a well-integrated residual heat making way for a long bitter finish.
