As BT would say, Boy Oh Boy Wowe it’s getting down to the wire now! Huddo and Sime give you their hot takes for the games from the weekend and their GF predictions.

In this episode, much like the title suggests, we preview the AFL finals. We talk about who like we like and don’t like and make a huge call about one of the usual members of our podcasts hypothetical AFL career.

Huddo and Simmo do a season recap of the 2022 AFL season including many a stat. MANY A STAT. Good for some recon if you’re already looking ahead to the 2023 SuperCoach season with top performers, POD’s and potential picks for next year. Enjoy.

Hud and Gratzy want to do all they can to keep their failed Supercoach preliminary finals off their minds, so things get a bit nutty in The Not So Good Shed. We almost shed a tear along with Ben Cunnington, as the great man makes his long awaited return from cancer.

Finals fever hits the Not So Goods Shed! Simmo tries to keep it together both in Supercoach and real life. (Disclaimer: You can hear the moment he starts to slip thanks to the beer podcast we SWEAR we didn’t record on the same day).

The boys are back after a week off covering all the happenings from round 19 of the AFL and give the lay of the land for all things SuperCoach. Simmo has sneakily got up on the boys FOUR weeks running.

Hudo returns to the not so good shed to give us his extended thoughts on the round and Supercoach predictions from round 17. Gratz goes on a tare about Collingwood and SIMMO tops the scoring for the week.

With Hudson out with hamstring awareness, Simmo and Gratzy try to steer the ship through the latest round of AFL and SuperCoach for this week. They go through the ins and outs of their own team and cover the big moments of the round.

This week there are some big SuperCoach scores up for grabs and it has Gratzy feeling a little nervous. Getting into the business end of the season we talk about top scorers, trades we missed and who we’re about to make a move on. We also discuss the Tom Stewart incident.

The Border Barrel Babes recap round 15 of the AFL and assess the damage incurred during the bye rounds as far as Supercoach is concerned. A bunch of upsets this week and key players out after suffering injuries. Hudo still remains top of the table and passed on some advice to Gratzy and Simmo.

The lads from Border Barrels are back in the ‘not so good shed’ to discuss the latest round of the AFL and their respective SuperCoach teams. Hudo had a blinder despite not even planning for the bye rounds and Simmo pipped Gratzy at the post.

Ahhhh.. the bye rounds. Not too fun for footy fans but bloody interesting for SuperCoach enthusiasts. Hudo faired best this week with a whopping score, Simmo beat Gratzy so that’s something and somehow with less games we somehow banged on about things for 50 odd minutes. Enjoy x

In this weeks episode, Hudo was victorious in the weekly Supercoach battle. Sime had a shocker and Zach put his foot in Kouts water bowl. Standard.

This week Sime loses his mind over the SuperCoach app. In doing so, it probably highlights a flaw in his general intelligence. For the rest of the time, we covered the round that was. Huddo worked from home so apologies for another phone episode.

In this weeks episode, Simmo claims the #1 Supercoach score… of the 3 people on the podcast. Patty Cripps ripps a 150 and resident DUD scores in the 50’s again for the second time in two weeks.

In this episode we cover the games and our SuperCoach scores from round 7. Gratzy has a blinder, Simmo somehow beat Hudo and some dude named Petey beat us all. Unfortunately, we didn’t have Gratz with us this week and he had to dial in from ISO.

Hudo and Gratzy break down the latest rounds of footy including their SuperCoach teams. There were also a few tasty Easter beers from Tumut River Brewing, Bridge Road and White Rabbit.

To start, Simmo and Hudo do their recap of all the action from the High Country Hop festival in Beechworth. Gratzy then drops in when we start talking footy and we go through the round so far and our current SuperCoach status.

The boys recap round two of the 2022 AFL complete with SuperCoach scores, predictions and insights. We also sampled some tasty beers from our new friends at Akasha, all delicious.

On this week’s episode of Border Barrels, the boys welcome Round 1 in with open arms, although the arms quickly push the footy away after Hudo spends a whole day trekking to watch the Bombers get pumped.

Boy oh boy, woweee! What a final. First Dee’s GF win in 57 years, absolute brilliance from Petracca and perhaps an iconic moment Caleb Daniel would love to forget? Great way to finish the season. Now for a few weeks off. Peace.

The boys from Border Barrels are back in the living room to give their take on the weekends games. Hudo’s body was feeling finals pressure and had to reach for the water for a bit of a reset. General consensus is the D’s are on for the Granny but Gratz has hope for his Doggo’s.

The lads from Border Barrels dial in to discuss Dogs vs Lions, Cats vs GWS and the shock of Nadia Bartel controversially advertising a $3 plate from K-Mart. More next week x

It’s finals time! Still locked down the lads dial in and give their takes and predictions for future rounds. Sime seems noticeably tired. Maybe he should have gone to bed at 8:30 rather than 9. At this point, I’m testing to see if anyone reads this. I don’t reckon anyone does. Footy footy footy.

This week the BB crew were faced with a second lockdown pod. Simmo refrained from the monologue, Hudo was cracking a stout at 1pm in the afternoon and Gratzy was still in the car for some reason. Had some huge games.

This week the boys from Border Barrels were forced to work from home.

In episode 21 (wow) we wrap up the Tokyo 2020 Olympic coverage, talk about some footy and have a beer or two while we’re doing it. Gratzy and Hudo get in an argument and Sime leaves the room multiple times for some reason. More next week I spose.

The BB crew stumble through a 45 minute rant on the Olympics and recap round 20 of the AFL season. The boys also review “The Third Horseman” by Deeds Brewing which is the first beer Simmo and Hudo have had since June. Oooft.

The boys of Border Barrels recap round 18. Well, sort of. We discussed the footy, a minor indiscretion Simmo had with George Gregan as well as what Gratzy watched when he got home from the pub throughout his 20’s.

This season is going QUICK! The boys unpack round 17 of the AFL season. Walsh ran his guts out, Doedee went full kamikaze and Danger had a cute little cuddle with Eddie. This… was a bit of a train wreck. Round 14, the final bye round. Gratzy and Hudo go head to head LIVE watching Essendon vs Hawthorn, Simmo expresses his disappointment at the Bombers Powerade wastage and Hudo almost carks it mid pod. If you liked this one, there’s 13 others so lucky you.

AFL Round 13 wrap. The second of the bye rounds. Geelong looking dominant, Hawthorn finally got a win and the King twins are allegedly getting traded for a pair of garden rakes. We also had a few beers and a couple of laughs.

The lads from BB break down games and happenings from round 12 (or 11.5 really) the bye round. D’s are STILL on top, Tiges turned cerebral in the fouth quarter and Simmo accurately predicts the result between Dogs and Dockers. There’s also a few packs of footy cards being opened. Still no gum.

Round 11 of the AFL was an interesting one. COVID made a shock return from injury and plagued half of the games. The D’s are on top of the table, Jack took a screamer and the package was delivered to the Don’s right on time.

The BB Crew recap round 10 of the AFL. This week we discuss the D’s first loss, our hate for keyboard warriors and Simmo’s love for Aliir Aliir.
