A stunning Spring afternoon was the setting for a very special showcase.
Local legends Bridge Road were generous enough to supply the podcast with not one, but TWO yearly limited release B2 Bombers.
These are mammoth beers, so you’ll need to forgive the subsequent chaos that reigned.
Thanks to Rhi and the team in Beechworth for supplying us with these beauties.

Bridge Road Brewers

B2 Bomber Mach 13.0 – Black Belgian Double Spectrum IPA

2023 marks 18 years of Bridge Road Brewers crafting beer in Beechworth. To celebrate we’ve created yet another edition of the fabled anniversary ale, the B2 Bomber.
The 13th edition of our annual birthday beer maintains the unmistakeable combination of complex dark malts, fruity Belgian yeast characters and big punchy hops.
Mach 13 sees us going all-in with a Spectrum hop combo and an ABV of 10.4. An artful balance of these familiar B2 elements with layers of Spectrum hops makes this a beer to savour.
What do we call it? A Black Belgian Double Spectrum IPA.
This is an exceptional beer, nothing less will do for our 18th celebration.

B2 Bomber Mach 12.0 – Black Belgian Double CRYO IPA

Our fabled anniversary ale, B2 Bomber is back to help celebrate our 17th birthday!
For this year’s 12th edition, we have re-created B2’s revered Imperial Belgian Black IPA base, with the addition of some new world CRYO hops.
Mach 12.0 sees us going all in with our malt bill to build layer upon layer of complexity. We’ve had some great experience brewing with CRYO hops in the past 12 months and have brought these learnings to this years release, with Sabro CRYO bringing a big tropical fruity punch without the dank.
An artful balance of the tried and true B2 elements, a slight belgo aroma covered with lashings of Coconut from the Sabro hops and a drying complex finish makes this a beer to savour.
What do we call it? A Black Belgian Double CRYO IPA.
This is an exceptional beer, fit for a celebration.

750ml | 10.1% ABV
