Beercast #24 – KAIJU! Beer Showcase

The Border Barrels crew turn into biologists on this weeks pod, discovering brand new Kaiju Mutations plus some exciting, unexpected tidbits about the brewery of the same name.

Black metal references, Simpsons influences and enough wall art to fill MONA are just some of the crazy directions this weeks journey into KAIJU! Beer takes us.

It’s another IPA heavy edition, with a NEIPA, Hazy Double and Dank West Coast all sampled.

A Radio friendly offering with a catchy modern riff on the citradelic aromas and flavours that have been hauling your olfactory cortex to infinity from time immemorial.

Hailing from deep beneath Blashyrkh these Squishies of The Doom Occulta escape battles in the north by returning to their infant form. Errrrrggghhhhh!

The Dank Shelbyville IPA (with Dr. Colossus)

Well, sir, there’s nothing on earth like a genuine, bona fide Shelbyville IPA.

Lifted piney, apricot and orange aromas are oh-so dank flowing through to a full, resinous palate with assertive bitterness and a long finish. That’s good. There’s not much of it. That’s bad.
